Solidarity Sunday Today, #EndJewHatred activists across the country came together for Solidarity Sunday, a historic event uniting Jews and Christians in prayer, support, and shared faith. In partnership with Moral Hearts Alliance and Eagles' Wings, this powerful event was held in over 40 churches nationwide, featuring inspiring speakers—including rabbis, IDF soldiers, and university students like EJH Fellows Lilly Fox (University of Arizona) and Max Meyer (Princeton University)—who shared their personal experiences of rising Jew-hatred. From universities adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism to decisive leadership on the international stage, these wins remind us that change is happening. Here's a roundup of this week's highlights: Harvard University settled two antisemitism lawsuits, adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism, and established a partnership with an Israeli university! | Ireland is repealing its severe "Occupied Territories BDS Law" and adopting the IHRA definition of antisemitism. | NYU suspended at least 13 students after a pro-Palestinian sit-in during finals week in December 2024. Additionally, over 20 other students were placed on probation! | Johns Hopkins University rejected a campus SJP call for BDS! | Hungarian leaders defied ICC arrest warrants for Israeli leaders! | President Trump revoked Executive Order 14115, which had sanctioned certain Israeli settlers in the West Bank. | A 90-day pause was placed on all U.S. foreign developmental assistance programs to review their alignment with administration policy (e.g., UNRWA). | President Trump authorized the deportation of visa holders who support hateful ideologies, terrorism, or national security threats, including individuals involved in pro-Hamas protests, riots, or fundraising efforts. |
