#EndJewHatred October in Review

Friday, October 31, 2025

To every activist who stood in the streets, every partner organization who stood beside us, and every supporter fueling this movement: you are the reason we are winning. You are the reason our message continues to spread: Jewish civil rights are human rights. Thank you.

This movement is only getting stronger — and as we head into November, our impact is accelerating.

Activism in Action!

In the weeks surrounding the one-year commemoration of October 7, the #EndJewHatred movement mobilized Jewish communities around the world to stand with the victims and against the hatred that fueled the attacks. In New York, Chicago, Miami, Toronto, and far beyond, thousands gathered for vigils, rallies, and campus actions calling for justice, remembrance, and unity.

Across the world we celebrated the return of the hostages. On October 16, Florida activists gathered to celebrate the safe return of hostages and honor those still in captivity. The community came together in dance and song, wearing white and blue and waving Israeli flags in solidarity. The evening was both emotional and hopeful—a reminder of resilience, gratitude, and the enduring spirit of Am Yisrael Chai.

On October 23, more than 75 activists gathered for a peaceful protest outside the Westport Library's UN Day national campaign event. The library had invited Christian Saunders, former acting UN commissioner and special coordinator for the UN's response to sexual exploitation and abuse. The activists are now calling for the library to host a Jewish civil rights speaker and to spark a national conversation about how municipalities engage with the UN.

On Tuesday, activists in Florida gathered in Miami for a mobilization workshop focused on empowering local leaders to take action in their communities and K–12 schools. The workshop, led by #EndJewHatred founder Brooke Goldstein, emphasized practical ways to confront antisemitism and radicalization at the local level.

This effort is part of the broader End Hate in Education campaign. The campaign encourages parents to take a more active role in their children's education—advocating for transparency, balanced curricula, and accountability within school systems. Last night, our amazing Director of Programming and Strategy, Michelle Ahdoot participated in a great discussion with Jonathan Harounoff, author of Unveiled and international spokesperson at the UN. They spoke about his captivating book, the importance of activism (even amidst fear!), the landscape of Jew-hatred in Iran, at the UN and beyond, and so much more. We recruited and welcomed new members of our #EndJewHatred Action Items Groups ready to help us move the needle against Jew-hatred!

This week we also introduced our founding class of #EndJewHatred Teens!

Together, we are building a powerful grassroots network to protect Jewish students, push for accountability, and create systemic change from the ground up.

Weekly Wins!

Our movement's advocacy continues to generate results. Each week, our collective efforts yield real victories — in schools, on campuses, and in the halls of government.

  • Community members in Smithfield, RI are demanding accountability. After our letters exposed the Superintendent's weak response to the antisemitic assault of a Jewish high school student by football players, the call for her resignation is growing louder. (Stay tuned—more action is coming.)

  • The Illinois State Board of Education and the Department of Human Rights are now reviewing the Ed Leaders Network training content following our advocacy. The original training video was pulled and replaced with a revised version. Oversight is increasing—and it's working.

  • Victory on the UC San Diego campus: the mandatory ethnic studies course labeling Israel as committing "sophicide" has been removed. Professor Shaista Patel's profiles were taken down, and the course syllabus page now shows an error. We're continuing to monitor developments closely.

  • After antisemitic artwork appeared at SWALE NYC, the organization issued a public statement, strengthened security, and revoked access for the artists involved. Mayor Eric Adams condemned the anti-Israel art exhibit saying, "Activism is not an excuse for antisemitism." Accountability matters—and our voices made it happen.

  • In Corvallis, OR, the mayor and city council voted down an anti-Israel resolution. This is what happens when we speak out together—our unity makes change happen.

These wins don't happen in isolation. We work hand in hand with dedicated partner organizations, community advocates, and supporters nationwide to amplify our collective impact. Every victory is part of a larger movement—one that's growing stronger every day as we stand together to #EndJewHatred.
