Another week, another powerful surge of grassroots momentum. From community screenings and city proclamations to national policy shifts and public accountability, the impact of the #EndJewHatred movement continues to grow. As we celebrate Passover—a time that honors our journey from slavery to freedom—we are reminded that the fight for dignity and justice is far from over. This week, our collective action speaks louder than ever: Jew-hatred has no place in our communities. Let's keep going strong. When we rise together, we win.
Activism in Action!
On April 8, at the Great Neck Library in New York, #EndJewHatred hosted a screening of October 8, followed by a Q&A with Michelle Ahdoot, Director of Programming and Strategy for the movement. The event drew a local audience committed to understanding the realities of antisemitism in the wake of October 7 and the importance of standing up for Jewish civil rights. The conversation focused on education, resilience, and how community members can become powerful advocates for change.

Also on April 8, the City of Aventura, Florida officially proclaimed April 29 as #EndJewHatred Day. We are deeply grateful to Mayor Howard Weinberg, Vice Mayor Rachel Saltzman Friedland, Commissioner Amit Bloom, and the entire Aventura City Commission for their bold leadership in the fight against antisemitism. The proclamation is part of our national effort to uplift Jewish voices and celebrate Jewish resilience and contributions to American society. This powerful recognition sends a clear message: hate has no home in Aventura.

On April 9, Tragic Awakening: A New Look at the Oldest Hatred was screened at Yale University, in collaboration with Yale Friends of Israel and #EndJewHatred. The event featured a post-screening Q&A with the film's narrator, Rawan Osman, a Syrian-Lebanese Arab Zionist and founder of ArabsAsk. Osman spoke passionately about her advocacy for peace with Israel, her personal journey, and how antisemitism must be addressed from a global perspective. The screening, held at Chabad at Yale, brought together students and community members in a meaningful dialogue about identity, allyship, and the enduring importance of truth.
