Another week of activism, another week of impact. Our movement is turning grassroots energy into real change — from official proclamations to powerful community events and hard-fought victories in the public square. With #EndJewHatred Day just weeks away, let's keep the momentum going. The message is clear: when we show up, we win.

Activism in Action!

On April 2, the City of Hollywood, Florida officially proclaimed April 29 as #EndJewHatred Day. Thank you to Mayor Josh Levy and the entire Hollywood City Commission for their leadership and commitment to standing against Jew-hatred. The proclamation was made possible through the efforts of #EndJewHatred activists in collaboration with Loving Moms United. Moments like these show the power of grassroots activism in building stronger, more inclusive communities.

Meanwhile, in Illinois, The Lawfare Project held a press conference at the Circuit Court of Cook County to announce a major legal development in the case of DePaul students Max Long and Michael Kaminsky, who were assaulted by masked Jew-haters last November. The lawsuit, filed by The Lawfare Project on behalf of the students, accuses DePaul University of negligence for failing to protect them. Activists from #EndJewHatred, along with the Chicago Jewish Alliance, showed up in force to support Max and Michael's fight for justice and accountability.

Also on April 2, over in New York, Michelle Ahdoot, Director of Programming and Strategy for the #EndJewHatred movement, participated in the Unite Against Hate: Addressing Anti-Semitism in Higher Education panel at Great Neck House. Speaking alongside Dan Khan, Shabbos Kestenbaum, Mazi Pilip, and Abraham Hamra, the panel addressed the alarming rise of Jew-hatred on high school and college campuses. The conversation focused on Jewish pride, empowerment, and actionable strategies to create safer and more inclusive academic environments. The event drew a standing-room-only crowd of approximately 100 people, with thousands more joining the conversation online via livestream.

On April 3, the #EndJewHatred activists of Connecticut led a rally outside the Westport Library during VersoFest'25, in response to singer and songwriter Patti Smith being invited as a keynote speaker. Smith has shared antisemitic statements on social media, including denying the Jewish connection to the land of Israel. Our activists showed up in force to call out her selective activism and to stand up for Jewish civil rights. The Westport Jewish community made it clear: hate has no place here.

Weekly Wins!

Your voices are being heard — and our movement is making an undeniable impact. This week's victories prove once again that when we show up, speak out, and refuse to back down, we win. Together, we are changing the narrative, holding antisemites accountable, and defending Jewish communities across the country. Let's keep the momentum going — the fight to #EndJewHatred is only getting stronger.

Help Us Transform K-12 Education

#EndJewHatred's K-12 initiative provides educators with resources that celebrate Jewish history, pride, and civil rights. These materials aim to empower teachers nationwide to bring our story into the classroom and combat Jew-hatred through education.

In April, we are pushing for balanced lesson plans in recognition of Genocide Awareness Month.

Your support can make a real difference. Every donation—large or small—will directly fund outreach to educators and ensure these vital resources reach as many schools as possible. Together, we can reshape classroom learning and create a brighter future for the next generation.
