As April comes to a close, we wanted to uplift and spotlight an incredible House champion from California: Representative Josh Harder has been a committed champion who has consistently put our communities and planet first since he was elected to the House in 2018. Last fall, Josh Harder narrowly defended this seat — beating out his anti-environment challenger by just over 3%. We know that several critical House seats in California are incredibly challenging and expensive to run and win in — which is why early support for our Earth Month spotlight candidate will be critical. As Earth Month comes to a close, support one of the biggest champions in the House by contributing directly to his reelection campaign through GiveGreen » Here are just a few reasons we want to highlight his leadership this week and give him a GiveGreen spotlight: - In Congress, he has introduced the FARM Act, a landmark climate change bill that supports Central Valley farmers
- He has been committed to building new water storage projects, protecting the Delta, and any water grabs that would ship the Valley's water to Los Angeles
- He has fought hard to combat the devastating impacts from climate change experienced by Californians across the state, including drought, wildfires, and crop loss on farms
- He is a current Member on the House Committee on Appropriations and has earned a 97% lifetime score on LCV's National Environmental Scorecard
With the support of GiveGreen donors, we can help Josh Harder win next November and ensure he has the resources to continue to fight for bold and equitable solutions to the climate crises in the House » Thanks for supporting climate champions, Team GiveGreen | GiveGreen offers a strategic vision for helping elect candidates who will take real action on climate change, and for making lasting change in our political system.
