The Seventh Sister is OFFICIALLY OUT NOW!!! I could not be more excited about this mushroom-soaked, forest rot, botanical folk horror. I’m loving all of the hype that TSS is already receiving, so thank you so very much. April 7th. My 7th novel. The Seventh Sister. I didn’t plan this, since I get no say in when my books are released, but honestly? Sometimes symmetry is just perfect and the forest provides.

To celebrate the launch, I went to fancy afternoon tea in a manor house not dissimilar to the one in the novel (this one not peeling and riddled with mushrooms and bone effigies). And, of course, I dressed in a manner suitable for the occasion.

This is a story about a middle sister, the third of seven. It’s about the rose-tinted glasses of childhood fable, and the clearer, colder eyes of adulthood in looking back. It’s about a forgotten forest god, and the barefoot children who worshipped him through the moss. It’s about love and it’s about ritual and, above all, it’s about devotion.
