We’re closing in on Election Day, and I can’t believe how fast time has passed by.

I’ve been traveling across Iowa talking to people about what they’re facing right now, and one thing keeps coming up over and over again: Folks are working harder than ever, and still falling behind.

Groceries cost more. Housing costs more. Healthcare costs more. Childcare costs more.

Meanwhile, politicians in Washington who are supposed to represent us are too busy protecting special interests and giving billionaires tax breaks to do much of anything about it.

That’s not leadership.

That’s why I decided to run for Senate — to put Iowans over insiders.

I grew up here in Iowa. I’ve spent my life here, and this is where I’m raising my son. I know that Iowans deserve better than the corruption and back-door bargaining that’s happening in Washington.

It all comes down to the final few days of this race. The establishment on both sides of the aisle is spending millions trying to defeat me.

But we’re building this campaign the right way: person by person, county by county, conversation by conversation. And that means grassroots supporters like you are the backbone of our movement.
