The fight isn’t over yet, Team.
Your support helped power victories across the country last night, but we have two outstanding races that may be headed to a recount, and these climate champions need your support to bring key wins to Mississippi and Arizona! When the margins are razor thin, both campaigns need to make sure that every vote is counted.
In Mississippi, Scott Colom is in a dead heat against incumbent Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith. And in Arizona’s 2nd District, Jonathan Nez is in a deadlock with incumbent Representative Eli Crane. Both races have our climate champions within just 100 votes from their climate villain opponents.
Your contribution could make all the difference for these climate champions as they make sure every vote is counted: Will you rush a gift directly to their campaigns through GiveGreen to help them cross the finish line in victory?
Election Day may be behind us, but the fight for these seats isn’t. Both campaigns need resources right now to make sure every eligible vote is counted. That takes legal teams, staff, and volunteers on the ground — and it takes those things TODAY.
Here’s what’s at stake:
- Scott Colom — prosecutor, judge, and district attorney — would become the first Black Senator from Mississippi since Reconstruction.
- Jonathan Nez, former President of the Navajo Nation, would become the first Native American elected to Congress from Arizona.
These are pro-environmental champions we need in Washington. Every additional vote for pro-climate majorities in the House and Senate will help us fight back against Donald Trump’s dangerous policies.
These champions ran campaigns with strong climate agendas. Now they need us to help them finish the job. Support Scott Colom and Jonathan Nez right now to help them flip these two seats and bring a climate-first agenda to Washington »
Every eligible vote deserves to be counted. Thank you for seeing this through, Team.
