Enbridge Wants 30% Gas Price Increase - Right after they Bought Dominion
Tuesday, September 17, 2024
Stop Enbridge 30% Gas Increase From Organizing Ohio: Enbridge Gas Ohio which used to be Dominion Energy which used to be East Ohio Gas is seeking a 30% increase in gas rates (see article from the Ohio Consumer Council linked to the flyer). Enbridge is trying to exploit the consumers right after they bought Dominion. They are asking for this mammoth increase notwithstanding that there has been a 20% increase in the number of gas shutoffs in the last two year by the Dominion. There will be public hearings held by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) next Wednesday in Cleveland, Thursday, Akron and next Monday in Lima. We need to have large turnouts to speak out and object and publicize what is happening. https://www.occ.ohio.gov/dominion-rate-increase-2024 Can't attend?
