Tuesday marks the critical end of month reporting deadline in Virginia, and five new climate leaders are counting on your support to give them the boost they need to close out their campaigns with a victory this November. Elizabeth Guzman (VA-22), May Nivar (VA-57), Leslie Mehta (VA-73), Kimberly Pope Adams (VA-82), and Kacey Carnegie (VA-89) are five leaders looking to flip key seats and defeat their pro-polluter incumbents! With a razor thin pro-environment majority in the Virginia House of Delegates, winning every single race is extremely important to defending and expanding the narrow majority. Currently, there is a one seat majority making the difference, which means that winning all five races will be critical to ensuring we have as many pro-environment seats as possible to pass the bold climate legislation we need to tackle the ever worsening climate crisis. Please do not wait until it is too late: The Virginia elections mark some of the biggest elections this year and we need your help to set these climate leaders up for success!
