Chris Pappas is in a dead-heat with former New Hampshire Senator John Sununu. A recent Emerson College poll showed Chris Pappas leading John Sununu by just 1 point — well within the margin of error.

Chris Pappas is a true climate champion: As a member of the House, he advocated for increased investments in clean energy, opposed drilling off of New Hampshire’s coast, and has earned an outstanding 97% lifetime score on LCV’s National Environmental Scorecard.

His likely opponent, John Sununu, voted in favor of offshore drilling when he previously represented New Hampshire in the Senate. This is an open Senate seat, as Senator Jeanne Shaheen is not running for reelection
