Taking place from 22-24 March, the Wander Wild Festival is the only event of its kind in the country and offers people the chance to take part in a wide range of outdoor-inspired events across the weekend. Catering to all fitness levels, interests and abilities, there is something for the body, mind, and soul of every adventurer! | | | 🗺️ What are you waiting for? The Wander Wild Festival, which is sponsored by Nature Valley, will take place in the beautiful town and surrounding areas of Killarney, Co Kerry. This area of Ireland is home to our highest mountain, the Republic of Ireland's longest waymarked trail, and some of the most stunning lakes in the country, making it the perfect setting for this action-packed festival. | | | 🧘 MIND Sunrise Yoga In yogic tradition, sunrise is a sacred and "divine time" where an individual's energy and spirituality is at its peak. BOOK IT | | | ⛰️ MOUNTAIN MacGillicuddy's Reeks Coimín na Péiste (Cummeenapeasta) Ridge Walk Using the incredible terrain of the Coimín na Péiste ridge line, you will be taught the skills necessary to move off the beaten path, on sometimes steeper, rockier or more exposed terrain. BOOK IT | | | 🌳 PARK Wim Hof Method Workshop The Wim Hof Method Workshop is a 4-hour event designed to help people deal with stress better, improve mental health, and build resilience. Recognised instructor Leo Ryan will guide you through the breathwork and cold immersion in the lakes of Killarney and help you find relaxation through the experience." BOOK IT | | | 🛶 LAKE SUP Safari Taster sessions (Stand Up Paddle) An amazing once-off experience to paddle the Lakes of Killarney. Stand up paddle in awe inspiring nature and rediscover a true sense of freedom. You can leave the car at home as there are bus and rail connections directly to Killarney. The festival also provides a sustainable shuttle bus at no extra charge. The shuttle will bring people to and from all scheduled activities outside of town. Wander Wild Festival is a no single-use plastic festival. And remember to bring your reusable coffee cups! Killarney is the first town in Ireland to ban the use of single-use cups in cafés, this initiative began in July 2023 and is thought to have already saved over 500,000 single-use cups from ending up in landfill.
